Lifeboat Service in Flint
The gannet was pecking
The swan it was flapping
The sheep they were ma-a-h-ing
All over the boat
We clung to the life-lines
We hung on the sheep tails
And we were just grateful
That nobody rescued a goat
They said we could all rescue people
We knew that we'd like to stop drowning at sea

Then one woman rang to spread ashes
It isn't the saving of drowning at sea
But somebody needs to spread ashes
So out we will go - we will serve and agree

From bungalows flooded we'll save them
In boats out of bedrooms - in tides in the sea

To bring out the people - to dry and set free

With accidents - suicides - lilos
We're kept pretty busy - and off out to sea
