Saving the Lives - from Rhyl

Saving the lives - from Rhyl

Earlier lifeboatmen died in the sea
Their capsizing boat in 1853
Drowned six of the crew
Six good men and true
Who went out to save the lives - from Rhyl

Down the years between brave men took the risk
By sailing out to sea whenever we’d ask
Their risk in the wave
Endeavour to save
They went out to save the lives - from Rhyl

Hovercraft - or a boat - oil-rig or boy
Volunteers run from their full-time employ
To battle the sea
To help you and me
To go out and save the lives - from Rhyl

From father to son - down the family
There seems to be some kind of destiny
To guard the children
The women and men
To go out and save the lives - from Rhyl
